Tetons and Snake River Sunrise, Grand Teton National Park
It took careful editing to transform my negative into something that I thought was an acceptable representation of this magnificent landscape. I don't think any image can beat Ansel Adams' classic interpretation of the Tetons and the Snake River, but I'm proud to have come back with a few negatives that I think are worthy of public view. This particular image is a sunrise in July. While Adams' famous shot was near sunset, I like the way the sun paints the trees in the valley of the Snake at sunrise.
