The Sheraton resort in Ka'anapali hosts a cliff diving event evenings. The diver climbs the rocks, lights a line of torches along the way, and then flips his torch into the water and dives after it. The water is only 8 feet deep, so diving skill is critical. Tourists may also jump off the rock, but diving is not recommended.
